Retirement Board Update - September 2, 2005 - By Joe Flynn In the future the Board plans to meet once a month, all day on the third
Friday. The morning session will consider financial matters and the afternoon
session will consider all other Board agenda items. For the time being,
previous committees of the Board have been suspended. This should make
better use of Board time as well as staff and consultant time and make
it easier for interested members to follow Board items. It will also give
new Board members an opportunity to become more familiar with the full
array of items and issues that are under consideration. Joe Flynn, Ret.
