INFORMATION ON JOINING THE ASSOCIATION

Congratulations on your retirement. We welcome you to become a member of your Association. The key to our strength, viability, and influence is our numbers, our energy and our dedication.

Representatives of the Association monitor activities affecting our Retirement System, frequently speak before the Retirement Board and City Council on issues of interest to retirees, and meet regularly with the City's Retirement Officer and representatives of the City Manager's Office to discuss protection of your benefits. Your support will help to keep this effort effective.

You may join now by filling in & sending the web form below.Or print out the Request for Membership form and send it to our Membership Chair, Sylvia Tatum. Association dues are $2.00 per month which are paid by payroll deduction. To save time, download & complete the REA payroll deduction form and send by mail to our Membership Chair, Sylvia Tatum . (The payroll deduction form is required along with your membership application form.)

Since DROP participants can not pay by payroll deduction, they should make arrangements with our Membership Chair whose phone number is listed below

We hope you will join us - and join in our monthly meetings, which are on the second Tuesday of each month (except December), at 11:00 a.m., at various buildings in Balboa Park. Parking is free!! Our December meeting is purely social, on the second Thursday, at noon, at Tom Ham's Lighthouse restaurant,
on Harbor Island.
