INFORMATION ON JOINING THE ASSOCIATION

Congratulations on your retirement. We welcome you to become a member of your Association. The key to our strength, viability, and influence is our numbers, our energy and our dedication.

Representatives of the Association monitor activities affecting our Retirement System, frequently speak before the Retirement Board and City Council on issues of interest to retirees, and meet regularly with the City's Retirement Officer and representatives of the City Manager's Office to discuss protection of your benefits. Your support will help to keep this effort effective.

You may join now by filling in the form below and sending it to our Treasurer, Sylvia Tatum. Association dues are $2.00 per month when paying by payroll deduction. If you wish to pay by cash, check or money order, dues are $30.00 per year.

We hope you will join us - and join in our monthly meetings, which are on the second Tuesday of each month (except December), at 11:00 a.m., at the War Memorial Building in Balboa Park. Parking is free!! Our December meeting is purely social, on the second Thursday, at noon, at Tom Ham's Lighthouse restaurant, on Harbor Island.
