Secretary's Note: Winner of our annual recognition award, SDCERS Board member
and actuary, Bill Sheffler, received his award from
Joe Flynn at this program, rather than December. Sheffler
thanked retirees for attending SDCERS Board meetings and inspiring him to
continue working for the right action of the SDCERS Board. The SDCERS Board
needs to know you care. Write them and attend meetings so they know their
decisions are important to you. Thank you, Patti.
