Tours are being given of the newly designed circular "open plan".
Nancy commented that to access parking, go down B Street to the State Street parking entrance.
(Note: Remember the color of your parking floor - there are only three floors. Note if you parked under the "east", "west", "north", or "south" signs before you take the elevator in the center of the parking floor.  Go directly to the third floor for SDCERS meetings, or the 4th floor for SDCERS' reception and offices. Validated parking.
A trolley station is about two blocks away.
Lunch in Little Italy or the small inside Deli on the first floor.)
Rebecca added that SDCERS is bringing in vendors to bid on updating the SDCERS web site. SDCERS wants 7/24 access to the site, forms available, and is concerned about security of information for members.

SDCERS RETIREE REPRESENTATIVE- Carmen Lutes
Carmen reported on the beautiful architectural features of SDCERS new site.
Due to the volatile stock market, Carmen said, SDCERS was down to $4.952 billion as of August 13th (from $5.14 billion last month).
